AirSense™ 10 AutoSet™ with Integrated Humidifier

PRESCRIPTION REQUIRED

The ResMed AirSense 10™ AutoSet™ is a premium auto-adjusting CPAP therapy machine for sleep apnea patients. Featuring advanced technology capable of detecting specific sleep states, the AirSense 10 AutoSet monitors breathing patterns and adjusts pressure settings based on real-time data. These high-tech interventions are complemented by the AirSense 10’s integrated wireless connectivity, which allows remote monitoring and adjustment by healthcare personnel. The AirSense 10’s practical design includes a built-in humidifier, quiet motor and easy-to-use LCD interface – ensuring one of the most convenient and effective CPAP therapy options available.

  • Advanced Automated CPAP Therapy

ResMed, one of the most trusted brands in CPAP therapy, showcases its latest technology on the AirSense 10 AutoSet. This advanced CPAP machine continuously monitors patient breathing patterns and automatically adjusts pressure to the optimal setting needed to treat specific apnea events. The AutoSet’s enhanced algorithm can distinguish from a wide array of sleep disturbances for the most effective interventions. In fact, the AirSense 10’s can differentiate between obstructive sleep apnea and central sleep apnea events (central sleep apnea is usually treated with Bi-level therapy or ASV therapy and often not treated with standard CPAP pressure). The AirSense 10 can also detect Cheyne-Stokes respiration, an irregular breathing condition that produces apneas. Pulse oximetry monitoring is also available on the AirSense 10 as an optional feature.

Several more automated systems adorn the AirSense 10 AutoSet, including AutoRamp™, which starts therapy at a lower initial pressure until sleep is detected when it increases to the full prescribed setting. AutoRamp helps patients ease their way into initial sleep and makes it easier to fall back asleep when they do wake up during the night. Another comfort-enhancing feature is Expiratory Pressure Relief (EPR™), which lowers pressure during exhalation for more natural breathing. The AirSense 10 AutoSet also offers SmartStart™, which automatically starts CPAP therapy once the patient breathes into their mask and shuts down after the mask is removed (SmartStart is not activated when shipped unless specified otherwise).

  • Connected Care

All of the cutting-edge automatic CPAP systems on the AirSense 10 AutoSet are made possible by the consistent, precise monitoring of the patient’s breathing. But it’s not just the machine that can make real-time adjustments, as the AirSense 10’s offers truly connected care thanks to AirView™. Utilizing the AirSense 10 AutoSet’s built-in wireless system, AirView allows trusted healthcare providers to monitor your therapy and adjust settings remotely through ResMed’s cloud-based system. So now you can rest easy knowing your CPAP therapy can be directed and improved by qualified professionals.

  • Intuitive and Functional Design

ResMed has packaged its advanced CPAP technology into a convenient and practical design. The AirSense 10 AutoSet user interface is highlighted by its color LCD screen with intuitive menu navigation. An ambient light sensor adjusts the screen’s brightness, making it easy-to-read but not bothersome at night. The AutoSet’s Easy-Breathe motor is quiet too, further reducing sleep distractions for you and your sleeping partner.

The AirSense 10’s integrated heated HumidAir™ humidifier makes water changes simple and convenient. Patient’s can also utilize a variety of hose options, from conventional tubing to the slender, lightweight tube included as standard equipment on the Airsense 10 AutoSet, or the ClimateLineAir™ heated tubing with its convenient swivel connection.

Superb Customer Service!

Purchased the ResMed AirSense10 Autoset C-Pap May, 2017. Unit was delivered the next day and worked perfectly until last night, when it stopped Ramping and provided only maximum air flow without adjustment. One phone call to SleepDirect and one email later, I get a return email with an RMA and a return FEDEX label from Greg. He lets me know that he has shipped a new C-Pap overnight to me, and asks me to return the defective C-Pap using his label. This company know how to conduct business. Thanks for the excellent response! I am rarely impressed with Customer Service, but SleepDirect has done a great job of impressing me.

My Sleep Direct Experience

I really enjoy my Resmed AirSense 10 with integrated Humidifier. It has a sound that is lulls me to sleep and the air comes in nicely. When I need a little more air I momentarily brake the seal of the mask which allows more sleep. The tutorials and advise is very helpful. The biggest negative however is that there is no one to help you live. I tried calling the phone number but no one calls back. I had a problem with a gurgling noise and when I removed my mask water was coming out. I called the following morning and left a message but no one called back. If they had a person to speak to then I would have no problem rating a 5.

My first CPAP; I'm not sure there is a better one.

I just got my apnea diagnosis at age 69. I am using the ResMed Airsense 10. At first I didn't think I would be able to use it. During the ramp up, I could not catch my breath, at a setting of 5. I am supposed to use a setting of 10. I was having difficulty inhaling and exhaling. I wanted to see what the sensation was at 10. That was it!!! At 10, it was a, um...a breathe of fresh air.No matter how strongly I inhaled, the air was there. And, exhaling was easy. And, the machine was quiet!!!

I just need to adjust it for my preferences. When I camp, even if it is cool outside, I like to breathe cool air, while my body is bundled warm. No, I can disable the heated air. And, the humidifier can help reduce dry mouth during the night.

Maybe I am describing what all CPAP machines do. But, this is the one I have, and it is great.

First Time User

I've always avoided CPAP machines because of their noise, inconvenience and general lack of comfort. I have used the machine for 14 straight days now, and can say that the Air Med 10 has none of these issues. I like it with both the nasal and pillow masks (preferred), and find that the machine definitely helps me sleep better. I especially like the auto ramp feature, as it seems to help me go to sleep before starting with the heavier pressures.

Best CPAP I've Used

I've been using a CPAP for about 18 years. I've never had a machine this quiet. I have to pull the mask away to see if it's working. It's a great unit. The water reservoir for the humidifier that I didn't need to fill each night. I'm glad I bought it.

Very Reliable Unit-Does It's Job Very Effectively!

I have been using the ResMed AirSense CPAP since July, 2015. I got mine through the Veteran's Administration. I had been tired for about 10 years, just dragging through each day and dozing off anywhere. After using the AirSense 10 AutoSet every night, I wake up each morning refreshed, after a good night's sleep.

It does take a few nights to get use to the machine, especially if you are claustrophobic. I use the nostril inserts. The nasal mask is a little overwhelming for me. The volume of air is too much and I feel trapped. I suggest that each user experiment with the volume setting to get the one that feels comfortable for him/her.

Also, I have lost 20 lbs! My doctor told me that when I sleep well, I will lose weight. She was right. I recommend the ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet to anyone with sleeping problems, with your doctor's approval of course.

The important thing to remember is not to give up after the first few nights. Allow time to adjust to the AirSense 10 AutoSet and it will make life a whole lot more enjoyable.

Sincerely,

Jim

So quiet I had to check to see if it was running. WOW!

I've used an older machine for years and decided I needed something smaller to travel internationally. This is a convenient size and is even smaller without the humidifier. However, the remarkable thing is how quiet this machine is. At first I didn't even think it was running...but there was the air moving through the mask. My wife has no idea I have it on. So, it was a great price (best I found on the internet); remarkable service because all of my questions were answered; and a tried and tested quality piece of equipment.

Slick!

Love it. I had an old S8 set to 8.2. Used the Airsense 10 on auto and I felt great the next day. The Airsense bumped me up to 11. I don't think one night in a sleep lab is enough for an accurate prescription. The auto feature on this thing makes it worth every penny. Only one minor complaint. The power button goes from a standby green to a bright white light when active. Nothing some electrical tape couldn't fix but that's a weird oversight in an otherwise excellent unit.

Mr.

A step forward from my previous machine. I like and my wife likes it also as she does not have to wake me to adjust the rushing air noise.

Great Machine!

I was using a PR BiPap machine, which I liked a lot but my physician suggested a newer machine with a heated hose. Since my pressures were about 11/8 he also suggested an Auto CPAP. I was a little leary about going off a BiPap and was going to try a small travel machine first (I wanted to downsize when I travel anyway), but by the time you add a humidor to those, they aren't so small anymore. Without a humidor, they are not much smaller than if I were to travel with my PR without its humidor. So I figured I might as well go for a new home machine, heated hose, bells and whistles. Best choice I could have made! With the auto ramp it doesn't kick up until it senses you are asleep. I am still tweaking the humidity but already I notice the difference with the heated hose. You can go much higher without rainout. Plus this machine is silent compared to my four year old PR. The technology has certainly gotten better, especially with the exhale relief, which is why I had to go with the BiPap in the first place. Don't need it any longer. It is also nice to get reports via email from ResMed if they notice anything wrong. (One night I was having more mask leak than usual and was alerted the next morning.) Your data gets transmitted about an hour after you wake up and then can be viewed by going to your MyAir account to see more detail. To get all the data, you need to pull the card and use software on your computer, but I get enough from the MyAir. Love this machine!! Also, SleepDirect had the machine on sale and shipped next day - pretty impressive.

LOVE THIS MACHINE!

I slept with my 9 year old machine in a closed drawer in my nightstand to muffle the noise. This machine sits on top of my night stand and I can't hear a thing! I got my family doctor to issue a prescription for a new machine from a copy of an 8 year old sleep study that I had a prescribed pressure setting of 10. After using this machine for a month in auto mode my sleep report shows I needed to crank the pressure setting up to 15 which made a noticeable difference in my quality of sleep. This machine is truly plug and play does not use your home Wi-Fi network it somehow uses a national cellphone signal with no monthly charges to the user of the machine! Gregg at Sleep Direct was knowledgeable great to work with.
