Easy to install, but ended up having to cut some of the small hose for a better fit. Another slight problem is you have to make sure the adapter if shut tight, otherwise it pops open when the machine is turned on.
My husband's BiPAP machine can stay attached to the SoClean2, so use is very easy for him. It's programmed to clean at 10 am every day.
If you use a heated hose with your CPAP/BiPAP you must have this adapter and the best part is that it was totally free! Other companies make you buy one.
Once I was able to figure out how to connect the machine to my CPap machine, it worked like a charm and I love it.
The CPAP I use had to have an adapter to be able to use the So Clean machine and it was included in the purchase price what a great value, and installing it was very easy with the step by step instructions that came with it. Within a few minutes after unpackaging the machine I was up and running....
I wish the lid gasket that you have to take off your existing lid came with the NEW lid.
The gasket from the previous lid is not a snug fit which can cause closure problems or middle of the night POP open.
Great fit for my ResMed 9 CPAP w/humidifier. Very easy to install and gives me the ability to just add distilled water and go. I will be a user for many years to come. Thank you.
It was a very worthwhile investment, it was easy to install. I am very satisfied.
I followed both the video and written instructions but it takes an exorbitant amount of Force to to latch the adapter. I contacted SoClean asking them if this was normal. They replied that sometimes there is a slight mismatch that makes closing the humidifier difficult. They said that if I would call them that they would send me a ResMed S9 humidifier lid modified for the hose port......free of charge. Thumbs up to SoClean.
